THE CHARACTER OF OUR EYES DURING SPORT IS TREMENDOUS

Some data:

80% TO 90% OF THE DECISIONS

taken while sporting are based on visual information

70% OF OUR BRAIN

is involved in processing visual information

FOCUSSING AND CONCENTRATION

are very important but he eyes are very sensitive to stress

THE EYES ARE SUBJECT TO FATIGUE

sooner than the body and tired eyes affect the performance in negative way

OBSERVING FASTER MEANS ACTING FASTER

Did you ever realize this?

The process of observing in brief:

YOUR EYES OBSERVE AN OBJECT

THE NERVE OF YOUR EYE SENDS AN ELECTRIC IMPUSE TO THE BRAIN

YOU OBSERVE A MOVING OBJECT WITH A DELAY OF 0.5 TO 0.6 SECONDS

THE IMAGE OF THE OBJECT WILL BE REFLECTED ON THE RETINA

YOUR BRAIN WILL OR WON’T RECOGNIZE THE OBJECT

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO AFFECT THIS DELAY OF VISUAL PERCEPTION BY TRAINING

Visual Performance

Are you an athlete training technique, tactics, endurance and power but not your eyes? Improve your sport performances by means of the Visual Performance Training.

The M.I.E.K. Method(More Input Eye vision is the Key) is a VISUAL PERFORMANCE training method with the purpose of:

1. To improve the visual qualities during Dynamic Vision by which the response speed of the athlete will increase tremendously

2. To decrease the delay of perception during Dynamic Vision by learning the athlete to respond to a situation faster while receiving fewer images(information) per unit of time

We learn the athlete to become more aware of what he observes

Improve your response speed by Visual Performance

Start with testing your eyes by an optometrist for:

  Sharpness of the eyes
  Interaction of the eyes
  Which eye is possibly dominant
  What is the in-depth visibility
  Visual flexibility
  Eye-hand co-ordination

These aspects are all affecting your respond ability during sport. This information is crucial for a top athlete. By training your visual qualities, your respond speed will be improved with better sport performances as a final result.

THE EFFECT OF THE TRAINING

Your brain processes moving objects faster and more acurately.
Your eye-hand co-ordination will be much better.
You will be able to process more visual information resulting in better, faster and more accurate decisions.
Localization of the ball will be better.
Your respond speed will increase.

Training your eyes by the Visual Performance Training, 12 times with a frequency of once a week shows great results:
Your peripheral vision increases with 9,8%
Your average respond time decreases with 10,5%
Your eye-hand co-ordination increases with 11,2%
